What is it? 这是什么训练营？
The camp is to advance your English writing. Plan, write, revise and read—complete one article per week. Improve your writing level through companionship and practice.
这个训练营是为了提高你的英语写作水平。构思、写作、修改、朗读，每周完成一篇文章。通过陪伴和练习提高你的写作水平。
The origin of the camp-缘起
The origin is that many friends want to improve their writing ability but do not take action. People always seem to wait for an occasion to trigger them to do something. So I created this space where you can learn with partners and level up.
这个训练营的起源是很多朋友说想提高自己的写作能力却很久没有行动。我们似乎总是在等待某个契机才开始行动。所以我建立了这个道场，你可以在这里与伙伴们一起练习并提高写作水平。
How does it work? 如何运行？
Each camp is scheduled for 4 weeks. The task is to write one essay each week, and the word count is not beyond 300, which meets the demands of daily life, work and exams. No limit to topic, content and format.
每期训练营为期 4 周。任务是每周完成一篇作文，字数不超过300。这个要求可以满足日常生活、工作和考试的需要。 内容不限，形式不限。
The timeline is:
- Write and revise from Monday to Friday
- Submit draft before 22:00 on Wednesday
- Submit your essay before 22:00 on Saturday
- Read your essay at an online meeting at 19:30 on Sunday
After the meeting, the articles will be published as a record. Please let me know if you do not want to publish your articles.

- 周六22:00前提交文章
- 周日19:30在线会议，阅读自己的文章

Topic and Content
You have no idea what to write? Don’t worry. I have 3 solutions.
- Choose one from IELTS or TOEFL writing questions. Many websites and apps provide real and recent questions.
- Writeandimprove.com, a writing practice tool developed by Cambridge. Various assignments in different levels and formats.
- Free writing. Clean your mind, and then write whatever comes to your first, regardless of logic or grammar. Unknown words are filled in Chinese, and then modified and polished. Anything is fine, even trivial and boring.

- 雅思或托福写作题。许多网站和app提供了最新的真实考题，比如雅思哥APP。
- writeandimprove.com，剑桥大学开发的写作练习工具。有针对不同水平的各种写作任务。
- 即兴写作。放空大脑，然后写下你首先想到的任何东西，不去管逻辑和语法。不知道的词先写中文，然后修改和润色。任何事情都很行，琐碎无聊也没事。
Format
Regarding the format, you can simply use a four-paragraph structure. Like this:
- Introduction, 30 words;
- First paragraph – First idea, 100 words;
- Second paragraph – Second idea, 100 words;
- Conclusion, 20 words;
关于格式，可以使用四段法。 比如：
- 介绍，30 字；
- 第一段 – 第一个想法，100 字；
- 第二段 – 第二个想法，100 字；
- 结论，20 字；
Timeline for Reference – 参考时间表
- Monday: Determine the topic, plan ideas and examples.
- Tuesday: Introduction and first paragraph.
- Wednesday: Second paragraph and conclusion.
- Thursday: Correct grammar mistakes, and replace overused words with synonyms. Grammarly is an excellent tool for that. You can ask me for help if needed, because I’m a paid user.
- Friday: Modify the sentence pattern. Consider Clauses(which/that), Conditionals(if) or Passives.
- Saturday: Note what you learn, mistakes, new vocabulary, phrases and collocations. For memorizing, Anki is recommended, and you should try it. https://apps.ankiweb.net/
- Sunday: Read your writing.

- 周一：确定主题，准备思路和例子。
- 周二：写介绍和第一段。
- 周三：写第二段和结论。
- 周四：修改语法错误，用同义词替换频繁使用的单词。Grammarly 是一个很好的工具。 如果有需要可以找我帮忙，我是付费用户。
- 周五：修改句型。 考虑从句（which/that）、条件句（if）和被动句。
